How to be Happy

  • Get plenty of sleep.
  • Eat Healthy.
  • Remember, you are what you eat. Set Aside at least 30 minutes of exercise for your self daily.
  • Pet your pet. (That is why it is called a "pet").
  • Thank God for at least 3 items you are thankful for. If you don't have 3 things, think harder.
  • Hang around with happy people (it rubs off).
  • Help someone with a problem they are facing, even if it is simple.
  • Thank people when they help you with a problem (even a small problem).
  • Hug your kid, parents, friends.
  • When you see something negative, offset it with a positive. Be a problem solver, not a complainer.
  • Look to always improve yourself. Read, educate, learn.
  • Turn a problem into an opportunity. Always look for ways to improve your (and others) lives.
  • Don't watch the news on television. If you must, write down a positive for every negative report you see or hear.
