Foods For Better Health! - Myth Or Fact?

Foods For Better Health! - Myth Or Fact?

By Josef Bichler

There are stories in everything: Big stories, little stories, and the most important stories are in health. Finding the right story is paramount to succeed in reaching your goal. Any of us never leave our comfort zone unless we're forced to. We are known as creatures of habits and when we're confronted with a major change in life our routine is interrupted and we're plunged in to the unknown. Gaining new experience, new knowledge and changing the way of thinking in a positive way is the beginning of something 'new'. Health is no different; nothing will change unless you make it happen. Only in the last decade or so research has uncovered how we can take control of our health.

The message over recent times has been very clear: Some foods are good for us and some are not. Research and tests have found that extracts from natural and whole foods are more effective in healing and can sustain optimal health better than anything else.

Can food safe our lives?

There are many testimonials and facts of people who survived aggressive cancers through changing diet and lifestyle. The name "lifestyle" can often be misleading and also be called industrialized or westernised world diet, which mainly consists of fried fatty foods, take away, fast foods, artificial flavours, sugary unhealthy snacks, soft drinks and sodas loaded with artificial sugars. These are only some of the foods causing most of bad health; at the same time it clearly answers that burning question: The right food can safe our lives. Being or become healthy we have to avoid the processed, genetically modified enhanced junk which some of it we are eating every day. As long as we keep buying it and perpetuate the conglomerates, in return they continue to give us more and all of this with no objections from our governments. On the other hand, can we really expect of governments to take the initiative to warn people or even ban these substances from being used that are clearly linked to many carcinogenic products endangering millions of people's lives?

This is why we must gain knowledge, read and learn how to avoid the things that can hurt us and to see through those commercials that try to brainwash us.

What we don't know not only can hurt us, it can take years of our life.

Foods for better health!

The power of natural foods hasn't been realised for some decades, or maybe forgotten or just exchanged for the often better tasting processed ones. Boosting your immune system with whole foods, vegetables and fruits is the only sustainable way for optimal health. The most powerful way to up our mineral and vitamins consumption is making drinks fresh from plants every day, by either blending or juicing vegetables and fruits together. Green drinks make you feel energetic, improve your skin and appearance, and help to drop those kilos at the same time.

Have a salad and a few sticks of celery before your meal; these raw greens and other veggies will insure that we are getting our enzyme intake. Enzymes help to digest food better and make us feel full faster since they contain lots of fibre. Any fermented vegetables and fruits are excellent and good for your gut health. Cultured cabbage like sauerkraut and other vegetables are easy made in your own kitchen to your own taste.

Or create a very powerful miracle drink: All you need is one potato, one carrot and one apple to make the juice; you can add some lemon or lime for better taste, put them all through the juicer and drink while it's fresh an hour before your meal.

Benefits: Strengthens the immune system, good for eye sight and red eye's, eliminates pain and muscle ache, assists bowel movement, eliminates constipation, good for acne and skin problems, lessens menstrual pain, assists hay fever sufferers. According to some feed-back it has prevented cancer cells to grow, prevented kidney, liver, pancreas disease and as well can cure ulcers. It can lower blood pressure and prevent heart attack. For best results drink it first thing in the morning one hour before breakfast and late afternoon, make it fresh every time. This is low in cost and little time involved making it, and will be a great benefit to your health. All vegetables and fruits have different benefits to different health issues. The most powerful ones are found in the cabbage family that include broccoli, kale, cauliflower, and Brussels sprouts. These green leafy vegetables have the highest nutritional and protein value, also the most needed omega-3, and other fatty acids which are essential for our body.

The most important step to a healthier life is the change to a healthy diet. Get more information from the FREE copy of my e-book report to make better food choices!

A Vegan Welcome: Clean Out the Refrigerator, Cupboards - You'll Sleep Better Tonight, I Guarantee It

A Vegan Welcome: Clean Out the Refrigerator, Cupboards - You'll Sleep Better Tonight, I Guarantee It

By Jeff Sekerak

The longer I maintain a plant-based lifestyle, the more I enjoy living with the fact I'm NOT helping subsidize an, 'industry of death.' One that specializes in enslavement, physical and spiritual torture, and an overall degradation of Man, and animal alike. One that considers a slice of flesh of a once living, breathing, dreaming sentient being, 'food.' One responsible for the 'stomping out' of life on such a massive scale for example, that in the U.S. alone, 19,000 land animals are killed every minute to make 'fare' for Man. And when you bring the 'beasts' of the sea into the matter? The numbers become even more disturbing - to put it mildly. Yes, to THIS I say:

'Unacceptable!'

Particularly as Mother Nature has seen fit to supply us with such a wide array, of delicious fruits and vegetables. Which, when they're combined properly into a good, varied, and mostly raw diet? Well they supply us with every nutrient needed to sustain an active, vibrantly healthy life.

More: And of course, an industry that does one heck of a job on another 'front' - that of self-imposed destruction of its own, collective health. As cultures emphasizing a flesh-based diet develop cancers (which thrive upon dead, decaying matter), heart disease, and diabetes, in disturbingly large numbers - along with near every other degenerative illness known to Man. Whereas cultures that historically 'opt out' of such behavior, embracing the 'way of the plant,' instead? Well, they build such a high degree of inner health that such diseases are more oft than not, virtually unknown. See Dr. Campbell's The China Study (Campbell), for details; as well as J. Robbins' excellent, Diet For A New America.

Brush up on texts like these for great, HIGHLY enlightening, potentially life-altering information. Then 'brush up' on thy health! By embracing a life based upon living foods, rather than dead. 'Vote' with thy dollar by NOT subsidizing said 'industry of death,' ever again. Clean out those cupboards. Empty that refrigerator of that which you KNOW should not be in there! Then reload both, with naturally grown fruits and vegetables. As these foods - Mother Nature's TRUE gifts to Man - will supply you with a physical, even spiritual health, that'll make you a 'bit prouder' perhaps, when you look into that mirror each night, before bed.

I slept better the night I did that, over two decades ago now - cleaned out my refrigerator and cupboards as described above, that is. And I can tell you from experience...

You shall too (guaranteed).

How to Eat Organic on a Budget

By Barbara Middleton

I budget the money for the bills and other necessities and one of those is good, healthy, clean foods. For the most part, this means eating organic. With GMOs, preservatives, and all kinds of other nasty things being put in our food, it's important to eat as clean as possible. Unfortunately if you go to the grocery store, you'll notice that the organic produce, meat, and dairy is more expensive than the other foods. That's extremely unfair! If you're like me and on a budget, how can you make sure you're getting the best without sending your grocery bill through the roof?

Farmer's Markets. This should be your only place to shop for fresh fruits and vegetables. Farmer's markets are great for finding all the good stuff at the peak of their growing season. The food is generally cheaper, too. By keeping everything local, you aren't paying the high transportation costs and overhead that is usually required in order to get food to a big chain grocery store. The best part is, it all just tastes better, too. I don't think there's anything more satisfying than eating a fresh peach from a roadside fruit stand.

Pick and Choose. During a recent grocery trip my husband said, "I know you want to get all organic but can we keep the grocery bill down just a little?" And he had a point. Take strawberries, for example. The organic ones were a dollar more than the ones that weren't. I did some research and found the "Dirty Dozen." These are fruits and vegetables that should ALWAYS be bought organic because they are some of the most heavily treated with chemicals. But of course, like all fruits and veggies, please be sure to thoroughly wash them before using: Peaches, Apples, Strawberries, Grapes, Cherries, Nectarines, Pears, Red Raspberries, Sweet Bell Peppers, Celery, Spinach and Lettuces, Potatoes, Tomatoes, Milk, and Meat

Grow Your Own. Of course the best way to ensure that you are getting the best quality you can is to grow your own. It's a great way to learn about your environment and can also be an activity that's fun for the whole family.

There are ways to be able to eat clean and healthy without breaking your bank. The goal is to eat organic whenever possible. If you can't, decide which choices would be the best for you and your family. I promise you, your body will thank you for it.

The Four Essential Principles of Nutrition for Losing Weight

By John T Baker

On a daily basis men and women wonder, "This weight loss diet isn't performing, what precisely am I carrying out wrong?" In the event that you haven't been practicing the four pillars for diet success, the answer is likely in this article.
Get the Correct Information
If perhaps one is using faulty instructions, although you might be completely devoted and observe every single step completely it still won't perform! You will want to have the right tools for the job. The best solution to get the facts is to find fit individuals and find out what works best for them. Should a method really perform, then it will benefit the majority of people. Naturally you must look for a solution that fits your personality too, but you've got to make sure the framework is solid.
Understand How to Dine Long Term
You've got to consider the future. You would like to slim down now, except you don't really want to simply put that fat back on in a years time. A diet that you force your body to adhere to but don't like is going to fail. Consuming food is a task you do on a daily basis, a lot like a job for many of us. If you happen to dislike your career you're going to be a far more dissatisfied human being and will most likely end up quitting. It happens to be the very same thing with eating, love it or loathe it, the decision is in your hands.
Minimize the Unhealthy Stuff
People have an instinct regarding what is wholesome and also about those things that are not. People who don't take an active role in their daily diet can easily eat nothing but unhealthy food. You know, the products that are heavily refined, loaded with processed sugar and unhealthy fat and no longer resembles something that once grew in the ground. You recognize it, however you still might munch on it in your routine. Take some time next time to think about why, and then make the decision to minimize the junk food. Of course the periodic snack is ok, and if you carry on slowly removing the junk, eventually, unexpectedly, you'll end up eating healthy.
Have More Healthy Food
After you minimize the bad foods you'll be able to swap them by getting more good things. For most people the place to start off is by eating extra lean protein, fruits and vegetables. Gradually increase your consumption of the healthy food. If you generally have veggies once a week, start increasing it to 2 or more. If the time has come to decide between fries or something green start making the healthy option more frequently. Just as before, this is not about completely getting rid of these foods from your diet program, yet making an effort to have more of the good and less of the unhealthy.
What To Do Now
From now on the time has come to head out and start eating. Always keep all of these 4 fundamentals in your thoughts and success will happen, just remember: You will succeed.
These are the basic principles that you can follow in your life to gradually make the change from unhealthy to healthy eating. If you need help finding more awesome diet tips and learning the key to picking a diet plan that is right for you click here now!

You Know What's Healthy To Eat, Here Are 10 Tips On How To Eat Healthy

You Know What's Healthy To Eat, Here Are 10 Tips On How To Eat Healthy
By Patrick Michael Williams

Conventional wisdom will tell you that it takes at least 21 days to make a habit. I have found (through the lens of my client's experience) that it really only takes about 14 days of consistent effort to develop a sustainable habit. In the beginning it is more important to learn how to eat healthy than merely what to eat. The vast majority of us know what is healthy and what is not. You absolutely know that ordering grilled chicken with vegetables is a superior option to buffalo wings and fries.
Treat these 14 days as something brand new. This is going to be fun! Especially when the fat starts melting off. It doesn't matter how many times you have attempted to change your nutrition for the better and failed. You can do this.
Again, the purpose of this article is to provide practical tips to teach you how to eat healthy, instead of merely what to eat. I have personally witnessed hundreds of people achieve incredible results by implementing these concepts.
Here are my top 10 practical tips on HOW to eat (and drink) healthy in no particular order of importance.
1. Carry a reusable bottle of water that holds 30oz. Your requirement for water will vary based on a number of factors, but if you are nearing the 100oz. mark that is probably a good start.
2. Buy tons of Tupperware! You will need it.
3. Do your best to set aside an hour long block of time on a Saturday or Sunday to cook your meals for the week.
4. Eat with purpose! Don't snack just to snack.
5. Keep "emergency" foods around such as almonds and Greek yogurt. These are insurance policies in case you are too busy to prepare all of your meals.
6. Eat 5-6 small meals a day, every 2 1/2 -3 hours. If you are off by up to 30 minutes don't sweat it! I am sure you would like to see how this is possible. As an example, take a look at my day.
Meal 1- 4:15AM

Meal 2- 8AM

Meal 3- 11AM

Meal 4- 1:30PM

Meal 5- 4PM

Meal 6- 7-7:30PM
7. If you are attempting to lose weight or change your body composition in any way; approach each meal as if it is just as or more important as your workout.
8.  Remember that you are changing for the better while eating, and that diet accounts for roughly 70% of your results from exercise. Hearing this fact is one thing, but experiencing it is illuminating and encouraging!
9. Once you have either consulted a dietitian, nutritionist, fitness expert, or done your own research, stick to your plan no matter what.
10. This last tip is most of my clients' favorite. Plan to have your cheat meals comprise 10% of your total meals. If you eat 5 meals a day 7 days a week that would equal 4 meals (I am rounding up for your benefit).
Bonus tip: Do not have a complete "cheat day." They take way too long to recover from!
I hope this article helps you lose bodyfat!

Do You Need Diet Food Delivered to Your Door?

By Sarah Louise White

The alarm clock jerks you from sleep at 5am. From that moment on it is a marathon that involves getting yourself ready, getting the kids ready, making sure their teeth are brushed, preparing lunches for school, and finally, everyone grabs a toaster pastry and heads out the door! After dropping them at school, it is off to your next photo shoot or press junket. You barely have time to read the latest news story on your pad, much less eat healthy. Perhaps it is time to consider having diet food delivered to your door?

Gone are the days where we spend time preparing quality meals because now we are so short on time as a society. All of the things designed to make life easier (i.e. microwaves, smart phones, online ordering, email), have simply served to make things move incredibly fast. They have robbed us of time instead of creating time because we are able to take on so many more responsibilities with our wonderful little technology gadgets. You would like to slow down if you could, but sometimes work and life schedules are just too demanding. Your eating habits suffer as a result.

It is very hard to squeeze in a 45 minute market run to pick out fresh ingredients for a healthy meal when you are constantly returning emails all day. You want healthy diet food, but you have to make a trade. Life is too busy. You grab some fast food because it is just that... fast. Taste and quality are compromised over speed. Plus, fast food is full of sodium. Even the diet drinks are chock full of salt. Don't let the convenience win you over. This is not a heart healthy way to live.

You want healthy meals. You want to look better and feel great. Yet, you don't have the time to go to market and find all of the proper ingredients, come home and prepare a healthy meal. Diet food home delivery is an attractive option for that very reason. If you choose no home delivery the above paragraph will become a familiar story for you. In fact, it might already be happening. Consider getting that same healthy, diet food delivered to your door. You can even take some pots along for lunch to ensure you are eating healthy all day. Having your food delivered could mean more time to spend with your children, or perhaps more time to run your business. Whatever the case, if you would like to reclaim some of your time, diet food delivery is a great option.

Do you want healthy meals? You can check my Pure Healthy Tips to get more ideas on how to choose healthy foods to your family.
